Reseller Program

The SoftLayer Reseller Program provides qualified hosting resellers with exceptional benefits as well as confidence that they are delivering their end customers a service with the highest performance and reliability. With SoftLayer, “value-adding” hosting resellers can better fulfill their end customer’s needs and grow their own services on demand.

The program gives resellers non-exclusive rights to offer standard SoftLayer services as well as products not sold directly under the SoftLayer name brand. Resellers receive generous volume discounts on dedicated server and upgrade purchases, setup fees and more. Resellers also receive preferred services, including a customized customer portal and auto-provisioned server delivery within 2 to 4 hours on components in stock.

Resellers must price servers at or above SoftLayer’s current online pricing. Reseller discounts do not apply to SoftLayer weekly specials or sales pricing. We reserve the right to reject non-qualified reseller applications.

Reseller Requirements

Potential resellers need to:

Have a verifiable Web site, company name, and address
Provide first level technical support to your clients
Provide billing and accounting support to your clients
Receive and resolve SPAM, DMCA and Abuse reports of your clients
Resell SoftLayer servers above the pricing listed on the SoftLayer website
Provide an "added-value" layer of service to the basic SoftLayer service offering
Be a SoftLayer customer for 30 days with 5 or more servers at regular price

SoftLayer has developed the CloudLayer Storage FastStart Program to help resellers easily create and offer a fully-branded CloudLayer Storage solution. The program covers all technical aspects and offers many branding options as well.
