Adaptec Unified Serial RAID controllers help ensure optimum I/O performance, expanded scalability and high throughput for SoftLayer’s next generation virtual IT environments. Adaptec is the only vendor currently offering a comprehensive family of serial RAID controllers for the PCI Express (PCIe) interface which consists of five different products and includes 4- and 8-port low-profile models, as well as the industry's only 12- and 16-port designs.
