SoftLayer's StorageLayer™ Solution Hits New Capacity

Year-old Service Reaches 500 TB of Network Storage

Plano, TX—November 19, 2008—Today StorageLayer™, SoftLayer Technologies’ innovative multi-technology storage and backup solution, reached 500TB of deployed network storage. StorageLayer has seen dramatic growth since SoftLayer launched the service one year ago, bringing the company’s customers a dynamic new way to meet their backup, disaster recovery, and database replication needs.

StorageLayer integrates advanced storage technologies and capabilities into a seamless solution with exceptional security, reliability, flexibility, and the ability to store and retrieve data across all of SoftLayer’s facilities. These include:
