Tech Wildcatters

TechWildcatters is a mentorship-driven microseed fund and startup accelerator. The 12-week accelerator "bootcamp" runs every spring and fall in Dallas. Each year, hundreds of companies apply to the program, and only 8–10 are invited to Dallas for each class. Selected companies receive up to $25,000 in seed funding, intensive top-notch mentorship and the opportunity to pitch to angel investors, venture capitalists and corporate development teams at the end of the program on "Pitch Day."

Mass Challenge

MassChallenge is the largest-ever startup accelerator and competition, and the first to support high-impact, early-stage entrepreneurs with no strings attached. Benefits for startups include: a three-month accelerator program, world-class mentorship and training, free office space, access to funding, legal advice, cofounders, media exposure, $1 million in cash awards and $4 million in in-kind support. Any startup can enter, from anywhere, in any industry. No equity is taken from any entrant or winner, no restrictions are applied. President Obama honored MassChallenge in January of 2011 as one of the nation's best organizations for supporting high-growth entrepreneurs, and MassChallenge was the youngest inaugural affiliate of the Startup America Partnership. The 111 startups supported in the 2010 MassChallenge accelerator raised more than $100 million in outside funding and created 500 new jobs in less than 12 months.
