SoftLayer® Revenue & Operations Grow in First Quarter of 2011

SoftLayer Continues to Grow at a Record Pace

Dallas—May 17, 2011—SoftLayer Technologies®, the innovative provider of Cloud, Dedicated, and seamlessly integrated environments, today announced continued operational and financial growth in the first quarter of 2011. Along with other achievements, the company earned $78 million in revenue for January 1 – March 31, 2011.

“This has been another great quarter for SoftLayer,” said Lance Crosby, Chief Executive Officer for Softlayer. “We continue to bring game changing innovation to the market at a record setting pace and this will continue as we go forward, particularly given we have successfully completed our integration efforts with the Planet. 

Key milestones for SoftLayer through the end of March this year have included:

  • $78 million revenue
  • $33 million EBITDA
  • 26,000+ customers across 140+ countries
  • Over 81,000 servers under management
  • Integration with the Planet complete
