SoftLayer^® Opens New Corporate Headquarters

Onsite Data Center with Advanced Features Launching Soon

DALLAS—July 21, 2010—SoftLayer Technologies^®, the innovative on-demand data center services provider, opened its new corporate headquarters on Monday, July 12, 2010. The company is now the sole occupant of a three-building complex located in North Dallas. Three new data center pods spanning the ground floor of the complex will be completed and brought on line in the coming weeks.

The new corporate headquarters includes:

• More than 120,000 sq/ft
• Offices and workspace for more than 300 employees
• Onsite data center space that will feature advanced networking options
• Global Network Operations Center to monitor all SoftLayer facilities

The facility was redeveloped for and leased to SoftLayer by Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: DLR), the world's largest wholesale data center provider. Digital Realty Trust develops and owns data center properties around the world, creating state of the art environments that have the abundance of power and fiber connectivity necessary for comprehensive information technology infrastructures.

SoftLayer's new corporate address is 4849 Alpha Road, Dallas, Texas, 75244. The firm continues operating data centers located at the INFOMART in Dallas as well as in Seattle, Washington and the Washington D.C. area, with network Points of Presence in seven additional U.S. cities.
