SoftLayer Hits Record With Server Installations

Dallas—February 26, 2007—Today, SoftLayer Technologies announced record sales for server installations during the month of January. "Sales for our dedicated servers have been unprecedented," said Lance Crosby, President and Chief Executive Officer of SoftLayer. "Over the last 30 days, we have successfully installed over 1,000 new dedicated servers."

According to Mr. Crosby, several key factors play an integral role in the dramatic increase in sales for the on-demand hosting provider. "However, we've learned that sales are more often driven by service than solutions and focusing on the customer has been our number one priority."

With the newly added IPMI 2.0, customers now have access to key features including, remote reboot, remote console, server monitoring, and granular reporting.
