Entire Line of VeriSign SSL Solutions, Including EV SSL and GeoTrust^® SSL, Now Available to Thousands of SoftLayer Customers

Mountainview, CA—August 17, 2009—A new security partnership between SoftLayer^TM Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of global, on-demand data center and hosting services, and VeriSign, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRSN), the trusted provider of Internet infrastructure services for the networked world, will bring the entire line of VeriSign® Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificates to thousands of SoftLayer customers. Identity thieves use these fraudulent pages to capture credit card numbers, passwords and other valuable personal information.
