HostReview - Annual Web Hosting Awards

The Annual Web Hosting Awards are a global recognition of innovators and market leaders, set up to reward outstanding contributions within the Web Hosting industry. Commenced in 2006, the HostReview Annual Awards have grown to be one of the most prestigious web hosting awards of its kind. 2010 marks the 5th year for these prestigious awards.

Dallas 100^™ Entrepreneur Award

SoftLayer received 2011 Dallas 100^™ Entrepreneur Award from the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship on November 16, and was further honored as the top fastest growing company in the Dallas area. Co-founded by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship in 1990, the Dallas 100^™ Awards is an annual event that identifies and honors the 100 fastest-growing privately held companies in the Dallas area. This particular list originally started with over 1500 companies and it has been narrowed down to the top 71.

The Inc 500/5000 Awards is an annual event that identifies and honors the 500 fastest-growing privately held companies in the Dallas area. To qualify for the Dallas 100™, a company must meet a number of criteria based on its revenue for the previous three years. SoftLayer has been recognized in the Inc 500 for the past two years. This year SoftLayer ranked number 277 overall, number 21 in the IT Services category, and number 5 in Dallas.

Deloitte Technology 500

The Technology Fast 500 program recognizes companies’ exemplary achievements in its annual ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in the United States and Canada. The program is based on percentage revenue growth for the previous four years and recognizes all areas of technology and includes both public and private companies. This is the first year SoftLayer has qualified for this award and SoftLayer is ranked number 32.

Dallas Morning News – Best Places to Work in DFW
